Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind getaway. Check into one of our luxurious rooms, then head off to Salem Cross Inn for their fabulous fireplace feast. Relax by the fire or lend a hand as dinner is prepared for you in colonial style. Stir the chowder as it bubbles in a cast iron cauldron. See your prime rib, roasted "to a turn" as the only known Roasting Jack still operating in America slowly rotates over a crackling fire of wild cherry logs. While your dinner cooks to perfection, enjoy a horse drawn wagon or sleigh ride through the woods and over the rolling meadows of the Inn's pristine 600 acres. Shake off the chill with warm mulled wine or cider upon your return. After dinner, beware the brimming bowl of freshly whipped cream ~ the perfect compliment to New England's Best Apple Pie.

Horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, and crafters make this a "don't miss" event. Overnight at The Red Maple Inn and Drover's Roast for two starting at $249 plus tax and service. Casual dress a must. Every Friday evening, May through October, attend The Red Maple Inn Film School and enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner in our beautiful muraled dining room, followed by a classic film shown in our private screening room (Seats 12).
Each month features a mini-film festival with themes such as The Play's the Thing: From Broadway to Hollywood; Dancing With the Stars: Astaire & Kelly; Beyond Hitchcock: Classics of Suspense; as well as tributes to great actors & directors, including Jack Nicholson, Cary Grant, Alfred Hitchcock & Billy Wilder. Each film is introduced and placed in its historical context by class director John Bills, RMI co-owner, film buff extraordinaire and member of the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI). Each class is followed by an opportunity for audience comments, questions and discussion. An evening of education, inspiration and really good food!

Check in to your luxury accommodations with private bath on a Friday afternoon. Share a bottle or two of Champagne with Tapas in our 225 year old wine cellar. Then during a three-course dinner, Co-owner John Bills, "film buff extraordinaire" and member of the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI), will lead a lively cinematic discussion followed by a viewing of the one of the greatest chick fliks ever, like George Cukor's The Women or The Way We Were with Streisand & Redford. Films are shown on our 80" (!!!) big screen in our private screening room, Hollywood & Vine. Tissues and popcorn included of course!
Saturday begins with a scrumptious three-course gourmet breakfast. In the afternoon you will have an opportunity for a manicure, pedicure and/or massage (advance arrangements a must!). Then on Saturday evening enjoy a special gournet dinner prepared by Chef Shari Alexander, with vintage wines and Belgian chocolates, followed by another great film. On Sunday morning we send you off with yet another delicious gourmet breakfast.
